  • Structural Composition: It usually consists of three parts: a nut, a socket, and a plain joint. It can also be considered as composed of a cone, a sphere, and a nut. The connecting surfaces are the spherical surface of the sphere and the conical surface of the cone. Tightening the nut makes the spherical surface and the conical surface fit closely to achieve a sealed connection.

  • Connection Method: One end is a socket type, where the steel pipe is inserted into the socket hole and fixed by welding; the other end is a male thread, which can be screwed with pipe fittings or equipment with female threads.
