Hexagonal external thread is a type of double headed external thread pipe fitting connector, with a hexagonal design in the middle and external threads machined on both ends, used to connect two straight pipes. Its core function is to replace welding and achieve rapid sealing and docking of pipelines, especially suitable for special scenarios such as fire and explosion prevention, high-altitude operations, etc.
Structural composition:
Hexagonal head: Provides a wrench slot for easy high torque tightening (with edge size standards such as M10 corresponding to 17mm).
External thread end: metric (M), imperial (G), American (NPT) and other thread standards, suitable for different pipeline systems.
Sealing method: relying on thread matching with raw tape or sealant, some models integrate O-ring (such as IP68 waterproof rating)
